  Zhiying Yan, male, Ph.D./researcher, member of the party committee of the Institute, assistant to the director of the Key Laboratory of Environmental and Applied Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was selected as the "Light of the West" talent training program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher of the Seed Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the academic and technological leader of Sichuan Candidate candidate, member of the writing team of “Biomass Energy Industry Science and Technology Innovation Development Strategy” of the Ministry of Science and Technology, member of the expert group of “Southern Mountain Biomass Energy Innovation Center”, director of the National Hog Industry Innovation Strategy Alliance, pollution control and resource technology for livestock and poultry breeding Member of the Southwest Branch Center of the National Engineering Laboratory, member of the Expert Bank of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Environmental Protection, Hunan Provincial Center for Collaborative Innovation in Safe Production of Livestock and Poultry, expert member of the Sichuan Organic Fertilizer Promotion Committee, and expert member of the Bazhong Green Organic Development Promotion Association. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of biomass waste and domestic manure bioconversion and resource utilization. He has presided over 11 provincial and ministerial-level and enterprise commissioned projects, and currently presides provincial key projects such as national key research and development plans and national natural science funds. 13 projects entrusted by the enterprise. In the past 5 years, it has made outstanding achievements in the development and application of functional biological bacterial fertilizer, control of malodorous pollution, control of anaerobic digestion process, and aerobic composting. It has promoted the research on the biotransformation and resource utilization of biomass waste and domestic manure. More than 40 papers, 21 patents applied for and 15 authorized, 2 monographs edited, including 1 monograph in English, 2 related scientific and technological achievements registered by the first author, and the research results won the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Guangdong Province And Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Second Prize. The research results have been applied in the desertification grassland treatment of scenic spots, ecological agricultural planting and breeding farms, landfills, manure treatment of biogas projects, and in-situ control of foul odors. He has completed 15 demonstration projects, including γ-PGA functional organisms. Application of fertilizers in the cultivation of astragalus medicinal herbs in Shaanxian County, Henan Province, deodorization of septic tanks in Chengdu East Station, reconstruction and reconstruction of environmentally friendly ecological toilets after the disaster in Jiuzhaigou, construction of sewage treatment plants outside the ditch, and sewage treatment in Huayang municipal toilets in Sichuan.
